Guest guest
40 Verses for Sri Ramana, Heart Bhagavan 1. How Do Fools Fall in Love? 2. Isn't it so, more often than not, one meets a certain someone? 3. Just meet your Self. 4. Clear every obstacle along the path by simply keeping out of the way. 5. Be the Self from the beginning -- that's "Getting off to a good start!" 6. Sri Ramana, Bliss of Presence, my own Self, Always So! 7. When I relinquish my self-worship and become a servant of the Self, I meet the Lord of Arunachala everywhere I roam. 8. First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, just What Is -- not mind, not Ramana, not a thing! 9. Lose yourself in That! "You will laugh!" 10. When you meet the Lord in meditation, the Mountain Seat is your own Home. 11. Sri Ramana, Bliss of Presence, my own Self, Always So! 12. Burn this hill to ashes, nothing left but sky! 13. Spacious One, all space and time contained in Love's Glance – their sweet obliteration – Jai to That! 14. There is a meal no tongue can touch, you feed me with my own hands, Beloved Bhagavan! 15. Attention turned to Self is the Lover, the Reality of Self is the Beloved. 16. When the two are merged, or recognized to be Indivisible, both the emptiness of mind and the emptiness of realization itself shine forth spontaneously as Unconditional Love. 17. Sri Ramana, Bliss of Presence, my own Self, Always So! 18. Dear Lord, what never existed never ceases to exist, neither birth nor death, neither seeker nor sought. If one recognizes oneself as neither existence nor lack of existence, the dreamer begins to awaken. 19. Between these two notions, being and nonbeing, You abide as the unchanging Reality – Guru, God, Self. 20. If there was a name for this Bliss, that name is Love. 21. There is no ignorance or knowledge in Love, there is only Love, nameless. 22. Love recognizes Itself, with or without names. 23. Sri Ramana, Bliss of Presence, my own Self, Always So! 24. We all have the same prognosis, some transcend it while alive. 25. It's not in or with the mind you'll find them -- they live from the Heart, as the Heart. 26. Who lay down and let it all go, What woke up as Awareness? 27. When pure Awareness alone remains, that is the Self. I am That. 28. Since nothing from the very beginning has happened, how can the Self be lost or found? 29. To the realized, this is not a question. They've become the answer. 30. Sri Ramana, Bliss of Presence, my own Self, Always So! 31. When the mind melts into the sea of such Love, sifted into the depthless depth of the Heart where He dwells as Peace, as Beloved, the Wisdom Eye opens, and He reveals Himself as Awareness. 32. In the recesses of the lotus-shaped hearts of all – the Light of Absolute Consciousness! 33. It is none other than your own Light, Oh Beloved, my Heart! 34. Moth to the flame, I am fuel for this Light – what once was held dear, now ashes. 35. Before my Lord I smear my forehead with this ash, the ash of my own immolation. 36. Beneath the ash vast emptiness prevails, no saint or sage can speak of it. 37. Both Lord and I dissolve in that Silence. Now who speaks, who listens? 38. Bhagavan hears without ears, speaks without words, teaches without teaching. 39. Though there is nothing to learn, Fortunate are His students! 40. Sri Ramana, Bliss of Presence, my own Self, Always So! LoveAlways
