questions of my Guru) guided me spiritually. I realized though, that

there was so much of the symbolism that escaped me. I appreciate what

you have written. It opens understanding of the symbolism. I come from

a western background, so these symbols are not a part of it.Last year

I was fortunate to be able to go to India and visit Sri Ramanasramam.

And I was travelling with my Guru. He took us to temples, like

Arunachalaswara, and walked through explaining the symbols.

Understanding what was behind the sysbols, they became like "familiar

friends" rather than unknown and confusing. Your explanation of

symbols in the Gita brings that kind of light to me.Thank you.Not
