If I could but hold this moment,

gently,

in my next breath,

I shall have been conceived in starlight

I shall have lived long enough

to tremble in the arms of Love,

freeing myself,

purposeless,

dreamless,

feather light, floating

high above horizons near and far,

reclaiming my innocece in

the shadow of my Beloved's presence,

a distant rising sun,

across the Universe in the laughter

of a dolphin's knowing smile.
