JOY

 

Slowly, e'er so slowly the music begins

crescendos a starry dark night into morning's good grace,

a restless blinding world is healed in deep slumber,

and if my mind be refreshed in a cool cool river

God's love e'er flowing, I shall walk with

Thee, my Lord, closer to the One I Love, and if I

open my eyes and ears with the Aum of Life,

I shall be wrapped in

the arms of my Beloved...

 

my morning eyes e'er shining in the

Light, e'er Spiritual Fire

and I, a flame, shall dance

and if the winds change my direction

my glow be not diminished,

be not forsaken,

for I

have made peace with the only world I e'er see,

my solitary life,

filled with Thee,

 

I awaken

this side of Paradise,

a painting not quite finished with all the colours

this

Dream of Life gathers into my poet hands,

into my still-beating heart,

blossoming.
