I found the following quote today on the web when looking at New Race:A

journal of integral studies and some other material on Sri Aurobindo

and The Mother. I was thinking about those like our Gurus and the

sevaks (sp?) that give and give toward the spiritual upliftment of all

of us.I sincerely hope you are having a blessed day. OM

"THE MOTHER'S INTRODUCTORY NOTE ON PRAYERS AND MEDITATIONS

Some give their soul to the Divine, some their life, some offer their

work, some their money. A few consecrate all of themselves and all they

have – soul, life, work, wealth; these are the true children of God."

The Mother

This excerpt is from The Mothers' book made up of extracts from a diary

written during years of intensive yogic discipline. I think it is

available through the Sri Aurobindo community.

hello everyone,

I am new to your site, new to this Journey, and would like to know if

someone can help me get started on this path I have choose to walk. I am 42

years old, born as hindu, practiced most of what I learned from elders. I

came from years of I should say not such pleasant life. I went into Yoga

training, and decided to get a teacher certificate to teach, but along this

journey, something else happen, I become this different person, I yearn for

knowledge, truth, kindness, meditation and so on. I do need some guidance

and would appreciate any kind what so ever. I want more. Is this normal MA.

I saw your face on the computer and something inside of me wants to sit next

to you, want to touch your feet, People think I am crazy. Maybe you can

clear my restless mind. Thank you for your time.
