Guest guest
Thank you, Nora for posting that thread. There's so much food for thought there. I'm in Las Vegas U.S. for business and a little overwhelmed by the city. It made me ask, what does it take to pull great amounts of money into one place? I thought about some of the great ancient monuments and civilizations that took so much resources to build. Were the ancients driven by devotion, as I have assumed? Or were they driven by greed such as I see here? Then I read about the instant Goddesses. I think an important part of devotion can be longing. The question to ask myself is: What am I longing for, and how am I seeking to answer that longing? I am grateful to read your thoughtful words while here in this rather strange city. Guest guest
prainbow, thank you for your kind words! -we are very grateful to nora for her selfless service in this forum. is it not amazing how she had 'archived' all the old posts from the shakti sadhanaa club and is now reproducing them for our pleasure! on another note, i used to be a frequent visitor to the 'sin' city (las vegas) because my daughter and her family lived there! prainbow, if you find time, please go to 'summerville' -they have just constructed a new hindu temple there! find out from directory information about the exact location, you will love it! Maya is synonymous with 'illusion' in vedanta. in tantra, 'maya' is shakti's creative energy! enjoy the 'show' as shakti's amorous adventures in this cosmic play! love , "prainbow61" <paulie-rainbow@u...> wrote: > Thank you, Nora for posting that thread.
