Guest guest
Namaste R U fishin'? These words have been arising here since i was the age of 9 after a vision of Mother Earth opened up something in this one. The circumstances dictate what form the words take and the Shakti has appeared many times in the ladies i have known, both as lovers and friends. There are a lot of ladies out there and i have a ton of poems. The situation brings up inspiration and then the words follow as poems or essays which are shared with those who can appreciate the flavour of them. May they be recieved in the Heart from whence they arose. Enjoy Avasa 2/8/2000. Shakti My Shakti came again last night, We danced until the mornings sun Arose above the purple mountains, Draped in the bliss of lover's fun. Then I arose, my Heart a'pounding For singing in my breast was She, In the dawn's song of the blackbird I heard Her message "set me free". Oh Shakti Ma, my Love, my Life There's no place that I'd rather be But wrapped up in your womblike bosom, Dissolved in you and you in me. I'll clasp your hand and kiss those fingers As they caress this Heart so torn, Shattered I will die into you, Your sacrifice, I'll be reborn. And all throughout eternity I'll hide and wait you to seek me. Fire seeks fuel and thirst sees water, Bee seeks flower and flower seeks bee. Avasa. Guest guest
Avasa, You have made me chuckle all day! Yes, I was 'fishin' for some background information on the source of the poem; either the author or the circumstance. Your verse is quite passionate, my mind required more information. Such poetry, it said, does not arise from a void...well, perhaps it does. I did try to craft my inquiry in some polite protocol. :} But you saw right through that! (Fain would I dwell on form...) I appreciate your gifts.
