There is no bottom step on the path to Self realisation as there is no path. What you are seeking is not elsewhere, it is with you right now but you are just overlooking it. What you are seeking is what is doing the seeking. The very first step up the ladder is a movement away from the answer, even the thought of taking that step is a disturbance to the realisation of who you are. Prior to any thought there is an empty aware nothingness that gives rise to the thoughts, it is also present as the background of these thoughts and the space between each word, each letter or sound even. This still, qualityless awareness is what you really are. It is untouched by any of its attributes and most of all it is 101% all YOU. It is this One now who writes these words in this body to be read in that one. "We" do not exist except as a concept, only this "I" exists. We are ONE. What you seek is not a feeling nor a mental comclusion, that which remains is what you are looking to "know". Rest as this and all will correct itself as your identification with this One removes your false identity. What you can find you will lose, this is ever present, it cannot be reached , gained , attained and it is not a goal. It is the fact of who you are right now!
