Namaste ColinIf you take every aspect of every goddess and go deeply

into them you will find that each one has ALL the qualites of all the

others.CONCLUSION--- they are ALL the same One.

Avasa.

OK, I used this analogy for myself and another when trying to describe

various qualities of Devi. I took a silvery pan and reflected light

to someone who I was talking to. As one imagines the light shines

brightly at one angle and does not reflect at another or even seems

to de black by contrast and then I said that these two were like

Lakshmi and Kali, the sattva and tamas aspects of Devi. What I have

recently noticed is that chanting each versions mantra has different

results. In fact chanting Mahalakshmi mantra seemed to exacerbate

differences between my wife and myself and made the enviroment very

clean and golden or yellowish while Chamundi mantra seemed to absorb

differences and left atmosphere milky white. Of course these are

subjective feelings.

But we all lose definition in the dark and I guess all is dark in

purview of time herself (Kala - Kali). Lakshmi is the manifest light

of the universe. I like to ascribe these two to the outer Kabalistic

spheres of Ain, and Ain Soph Aur, or primal dark and primal light.

There is one intermediate sphere between the two called Ain Soph

which is chaos. Crowley utilized this outer Kabalistic sphere as his

magic circle and called it Babylon. But this last bit is merely a

personal (to Crowley) expression or expansion of Devi as Kali? to the

magickal world.

While using Kabalah may be helpful, it becomes difficult to keep

making analogies because the spheres of Chockma and Binah are

respectively primal male and female and they are called first

manifestations of light. So where Siva as bindu fits in and whether

at Kether or at Chockma is confusing.
