Hi,

I'm glad to hear there are plenty of sites...so far I haven't found

many that are of use...I suppose I should also say that it would be a

great help if they were in english.

Any recommendations would be useful and I would like to read a broad

range of material...but if you can suggest any for Parvati, Uma and a

goddess who I think is called Aranyani...any info on Aranyani would

be great too.

Thanks for any help,

PB

Merry Meet Pagan Bhakta!

I'm pagan myself and new to this area of inquiry. Personally I'm

starting with print material, a recommended translation of the Devi

Gita, and I think I'll next explore a translation of the Devi

Mahatmyam.

Coming from a Dianic perspective, I feel that it was natural for me to

become curious about the Hindu Goddess tradition. I'm really enjoying

what I'm learning here.

If I can be of any assistance, please let me know! I'm glad you're

here!

Bright Blessings,

Prainbow

Hi Prainbow,

Thanks for saying hello...I'm glad I'm not the only one who is quite

the newbie! I may chap on your door sometime for that offer of

assistance...thank you. I take it from the back posts that the Devi

Gita is not online...so I may track down a copy. It looks like the

Goddess directed me to the right place!

Bright Blessings to you to,

pagan bhakta, this is one happy family here and prainbow is one of

our leading members - she will certainly help you disscover the right

resource material. meanwhile, please get a copy of coburn's book as

suggested by our beloved founder. that is the first step . then

slowly you can learn to 'dance with kali. ' as time goes by... we are

all here to help each other on this inner pilgrimage.

of course, being an elderly lady (the weather being what it is) i

love to 'surf' the web more than going to the library! but, then

that's just me -

love
