db, thi sis indeed fantastic! i just took a look at list - pretty

much includes most of the books i have glanced through at one point

of time or another... ... except i found madhu khanna missing ! is

this an oversight? i have seen you quoting from madhu khanna in

your posts in shakti sadhnaa club...

i was surprised to see you mentioning daugters of the goddess by

linda johnson - i have this book and sree maa (the guru of swami

satyananda sarswati) is one of the women saints mentioned in this

well wriitten book... it also includes other women saints like

ammachi, maa amritanandamayee , gurumayee etc...

btw linda johnson is a devotee of sree maa/swami satyananda

saraswati!

about devdutt patnaik 's book on the goddess of india - i have this

to say... i glanced through it at barnes and noble wand i liked it

more for its art work ! a bit too erotic and more in the style of

khajuraho scuptures!!! there was not much in the way of writwen

material!!!

coburn - i already own as you can see - i just quoted a poem from his

book in response to blisswave's post! but may i ask you a question,

if you will pardon me! please?

is coburn a practicing tantrik or a shakta? well, our swami

satyananda saraswati is a practicing tantrik and a shakta par

excellance ...

i have had a look at vidya dehija's book also at barnes and noble -

for art lovers , it a treat - a little too 'erotic' to non-tantriks!

(my daughter did not like my looking at it -she is kind of

conservative)

you have put together a great list, db! hats off to you! you shoould

ask amazon to give you commission on every book we members

purchase... fair enough for acting as theit marketing man!!!

great job db ! our heartfelt thanks to you!

love
