Does anyone here have mantras for Tara?? Please do post it up...

I had the most amazing experience last week. I went to Birmingham for

some work and walking back to the station was strangely drawn to a

store located above the station. I went straigt in and picked up a

statue of Tara, the only one there. The store was filled with New Age

stuff....It was so strange, cause I always pick up statues from

authentic dealers or from the sculptors themselves.

Before I knew it I had purchased the bronze statue convincing myself,

I could probably starve for a week and use the money towards this

statue but I simply had to get this one. Is this maya or what???

Anyway she is now in my conservatory sitting majestically with the

serene and calm....just need to breathe some life into her..hence the

request for mantras..

Thought I would share this experience with my family...

Dear Kallikaputri

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story of yours with us. All i can

say is that, Mother does work in mysterious way.

About Tara Mantra, what I have is the dhyana mantra of Tara in her

form as Nila-saraswati and it is as follows :

I bow to you mother Nilasarasvati.

You give well-being and auspiciousness.

You are situated on the heart of a corpse and are advancing

aggressively.

You have three fearful, bright eyes. You carry a skull bowl,

scissors and a sword.

Your form shines like a blazing fire.

Give me refuge.

Give me golden speech.

Please let your gracious nectar drench my heart, remover of pride.

You wear a tiger skin as a skirt and a garland of chopped off heads.

You are frightening and remove fear.

Now my next step is to get the Sanskrit version of this.

Well maybe some might say coincidence but I just rtecently finished my

100,000 japas to Mahalakshmi and just this week started my spate of

japas to Nilasaraswati. My mantra from Ashley Ferrand is

Im Hrim Shrim Klim Saw Klim Hrim Im Blum Strim Nilatari Saraswati Dram

Drim Klim Blum Saw Im Hrim Srim Klim Saw Saw Hrim Swaha

It's a long mantra. It is the Sri Vidya mantra. According to my book

"Tools for Tantra" there are four types of mantras of Dash Mahavidyas

depending on which of ten worshipped. Kali mantram is Mahavidya,

Tara mantra is Srividya, and others are either Siddhividdya or

Shuddhividya. Worship of Tara brings enlightenment, elegant speech,

and ability to transmit Shakti.

Plus Tibetan Buddhists are being very active in the world now teaching

peace and making sand mandalas and doing intense Tara purifications.

Therefore perhaps some of us sensitive people are also desiring Ma

Tara to help us. Many people worship Tara and It could be

interesting to find out who. Nice Poem Nora
