The four armed deity sree lalita tripurasundari holds in her lower

left hand , a *noose* representhing the power of *LOVE.*

 

tHE *gOAD* in the other hand meant to restrain the *forces of evil. *

 

the *sugarcane* bow in yet another hand stands for the *mind*.

 

the *five arrows* stand for subtle elements such as

1)sound 2)touch 3)sight 4)taste and 5)smell.

 

The rosy hue of her magnificnt body bathes the whole universe in

exciting Crimson.

 

 

Her forehead shines like the *crescent* moon !

 

Her face is peak of mount meru ; also in the *BINDU* , in the central

circle of sri chakra .

 

Her abode is a forest of mandvipa, the island of wish-yielding gems.

 

she rests on a couch of five. brahmans- brahma, rudra, ishana. vishnu

and sadashiva.

 

In the *bindu* in sri chakra, she unites with sada shiva!
