HE was A CONTEMPORARY OF MY FATHER WHO WAS ALSO THE EDITOR OF HINUSTAN TIMES, A LOCAL DAILY. oops, i am sorry ! i should have knowm ? why would frank moraes write about shaktism ?espeacially he is not a practicing shakta even though journalists do cover a variety of topics!!!!! all said and done, that article was an eye opener! and the wisconcin frank morales had done a wonderfuljob of explaining the 'divine feminne' principle!!!! on another note, gopi- a harmonious family is a BOON- both mother and father living in harmony... if they are incompatible and are always fighting , then a well -rounded single parent (who is together( is preferable for he/she can do a better job of raising children.... of course all with the help of god/dess as the silent partner... it is for this reason that many single mothers drive a lot of strength and comfort from the Icon of kali WHO AS A SPIRITUAK WARRIOR REPRESENTS STRENTH, COURAGE AND BRAVEY AND A GREAT SENSE OF INDEPENDENCE!!!! more on this later, gopi! your concerns are genuine!!! we all know the story of Dhruva who was abandoned by his father on the cruel advice of his step mother and took refuge at the lotus feet of MAHA VISHNU and attained liberation! keep asking those questions, dear! this keeps us all on our toes! love Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
