verse 4:

"venDuthal venDaamai ilaan aDi cherntaarkku

yaanDum iDumpai ila,"

 

Meaning:

Mentally worshipping the Feet of One Who has no desires or aversion,

one is rid of life's travails arising from Karma at all times.

 

Annotation:

Man is suffering in Life since Karma operates inexorably.One cannot

escape the consequences of Karma.He is born again and again to reap

the consequences of his or her Karma.However, there is one hope for

redemption as when a person even mentally worships God since God has

no preferences or prejudices and is not bound by Karma and thus is

uniquely capable of releasing His devotees from Life's travails

caused by the Law of Karma.
