Guest guest
OM fellow travellers Sahajo Bai was an 18th century disciple of the great Delhi teacher, Charandas. Here is a poem by her on worshippping the Self: The worship of the self is the best, there is none greater. Expand your consciousness within your soul, where no distractions lie. Scrub the inner sanctum of your heart, light lamps and incense there. Such worship is the root of all compassion, apply the sandalwood paste of even-mindedness, offer the flowers of forgiveness. Let your soft words be morning food for the gods. He who does not abandon slander and lies is no yogi. Ring the bell of unstruck sound, fill your body with one simple emotion. Make others happy. Be happy yourself. This is the friendship which will make the gods happy. Guru Charandas told me: chant "Soham, Soham", with all your senses, mind and intellect, let it come, Sahajo, of its own accord.
