Guest guest Posted April 24, 2002 Report Share Posted April 24, 2002 yeshe, that is beautiful!! she brought back warm memories instead of pictures of the 'homeless' on the streets of calcutta... ! one must know how to see the rose among the thorns... but the thorns give the rose its real beauty... for god/ess lives in the dakshineswar temple a well as in the faces of the homel;ess, as our mother theresa would say!!! but i was amused by her last comment... "never go anywhere without the toilet paper' in india, toilet paper is increasingly coming into vogue due to western influence and 'water' is very scaece in many cities and they cost (the good ones) about !125 rupees a roll ! lol!! but everytime, shri ramakrishna's name is mentioned, i just go ecstatic!!! thanks yeshe for all ur wonderful posts...
