Guest guest
Thank you so much, Maa, for telling us this. This is great news! Shaktism has really begun to permeate the Washington DC area, I can feel it! What a blessing to have this presence. I'd like to visit when I can get a chance and say hello. Guest guest
thanx pk! welcome back to maa's abode! nice to see you back in this forum... well, you left a great legacy in 'saundarya lahari' and i always read and read it from time to time! it is a masterpiece by adi shankara and a great tribute to devi! i had a glimpse of your web-site! it is aesthetically beautiful. well done! i have not read the text as yet! here are two lines from rabibdra nath tagore's urvashi. i thought you might like to include it along with goethe and rumi! "Neither mother nor daughter are you, nor bride Urvashi. Woman you are, to ravish the soul of Paradise." urvashi is a celestial apsara who is known for her exquisite beauty. arjuna fell in love with her and was cursed by her- that is another story! i will give you excerpts from kalidasa's meghadoota later on - there are some wonderful verses there that you might like! have you heard of sufi-shaivite woman saint LLAESHWARI OF KASHMIR? yes, we must meet sometime at least before the summer is over!! i have planned trips to london and florida also ! we will see, inshallah! LOVE AND BLESSINGS,
