I am like the passenger who did not know shastra but knpws how to swim and I am keen on teaching others how to swim. I do not belittle tyhe need to know the shastras and other related topics. what I am saying is that all that knowledge will come to you as you progress in Sadhana. Sideby side with such studies practice is also called for. (I am NOT belittling anyone or saying anything is smaller or greater) I am giving below the post I was writing: Hi all: For those who want to start shakthi sadhana of lalita, they have to prepare themselves first. The easiest method prescribed to manifest the Guru who will take you in hand and lead you is the sahasraakshari Khadga Mala. I am giving below that. recite it daily and it will manifest the guru that will guide you. It contains the names of all the devis in the sri yantra. Just reciting them shall fulfill all your desires whether spiritual or material. But also remember that Kala(time) and Karma(action) has to coinside then the results will come forth. if you are running a bad time, it will lessen its impact, if it is a good time the results will follow in a flash LOVE Kochu Om Asya Sri Suddha Sakti málá mahá mantrasya Upasthendriya adhisthayi Varunaditya Rishih Daivi Gayatri Chandah Satvika Kakára bhattaraka pithasthita Sri mat Kámesveranka nilaiaya Sri mat Kámesvari devatá Aim Bijam, Klim Saktihi, Souh kilakam Sri Devi prityarthe Khadga siddthyarthe jape viniyogah Of this, Devi's sword, the Seer is the Sun rising from the ocean; the ocean being the Divine Mother; Gayatri is the meter; passionate Kameshwari, sitting on the lap of joyous Kameswara is the deity; Aim is the seed; Klim is the power; Souh is the pivot; it is purpose is for worship of the Divine Mother. Guest guest
Vanakkam Kochu-ji Thank you for your introduction into Lalitha Sadhana. Please dont get me wrong. The post :The Pandit who could not swim, is not meant to target anyone. I was reading the book entittled : Ramakrishna tells stories, a compilation of stories as told by Ramakrishan, complied by a friend of mine, and I just love this one. We can learn a lot from just a simple story like this. Maybe next time Ill post on The Hitopadesha. They have valuable ancient classic story that we all can learn. I remember in the old club somebody asked the difference between Knowledge and Information. In my opinon,. Information without understanding remains just an information. Knowledge are information with an understanding. Knowledge if use for the good of humanity is Divine. Knowledge use to hurl insult, belittle and humuliate others are evil. Knowledge is power if one knows how to use it appropriately. OM ParaShaktiye Namaha
Guest guest
Dear Nora: I did not get offended. i DO NOT get offended at anything other than an insult to my country and my religion. What i meant was an honest self assesment. The story struck a cord in me and hence my statement. I also sent a mail saying I am not doing it to hurt any one. Please never assume I am offended at anything. I am not. Whatever vagdevi tells me I write. That is all. similerly I will NEVER write anything disparging about any one, if such a meaning creeps into my posting I would request that it be ignored and just take the litteral meaning, which alone is intended. I will never speak with a hidden meaning. I will never criticize any one. OK? *smile* and *HUGS* to all my friends. Kochu
Guest guest
hi kochu, thanks for the beautiful sree lalita stotra... for those of us who are brought up on shri ramakrisha , every word from him is like a 'scriptural' injunction... in fact, shri ramakrishna had very little formal education but because he was such a genuine devotee of kalli maa, he became proficient in all scriptures and all darshanas... the goddess of learning resided on his tongue. so, we do not know what comes first? whether knowledhe comes after realization or realization comes after knowledge!!! but the only real knowledge is the 'knowledge of the self' and if one does not realize the self , all other knowledge are uselss. at best, they are ornaments... it is our own 'insecurities' that makes us project our ideas on others; there are no insults and no belittling espeacially in this forum. of all the forums i belong to, this is one of the best... there is a feeling of warmth and love here and acceptance. i do not feel any insults or injury--- of course we have differences of opinion and we have different viewpoints but at the end of the day, we are a happpy family!!! how can it be otherwise where Devi is in charge ? of course, from time to tim, she will 'bust' our egos and that is needed to keep us on track!!!! since a gibran marathon is goin on, let me share with you what our beloved lebanese poet says on 'KNOWELEDGE' And a man said, Speak to us of Self-Knowledge. And he answered saying: Your hearts know in silence the secrets of the days and the nights. But your ears thirst for the sound of your heart's knowledge. You would know in words that which you have always known in thought. You would touch with your fingers the naked body of your dreams. And it is well you should. The hidden well-spring of your soul must rise and run murmuring to the sea; and the treasure of your infinite depths would be revealed to your eyes. But let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure; and seek not the depths of your knowledge with staff or sounding line. For self is a sea boundless and measureless. Say not, "I have found the truth," but rather, "I have found a truth." Say not, "I have found the path of the soul." Say rather, "I have met the soul walking upon my path." For the soul walks upon all paths. The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed. The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals. ********************************************************************** SO, REMEMBER- KOCHU... you are ok; i am ok we are all ok !! SELF-ACCEPTANCE IS IMPORTANT BEFORE OTHERS CAN ACCEPT YOU!!! love
