And then nothing inauspicious happens to them, in battle or adversity. I see no misfortune for one who surrenders to Her, Neither grief nor misery nor danger. Prosperity is assured for those who remember Her with devotion. " the other hand is the ***varada mudra*** which grants you all boons whatever we ask for. you have summed up these two (protection and granting of boons) beautifully in this kavach! bhukti-mukti pradayini, our divine mother of the universe!
