" Viveka Chudamani- crest jewel of discrimination Adi Shankara ************************************************************ DoeS this mean we should not study scriptures? no, not at all!! by all means, study all the scriptures - upanishads, vedas, tantras, amas , the bhagvat gita ...... the whole spectrum!!! but realize that Devi resides in all beings as 'consciousness' as chaitanaya rupa swaroopini ! this would enable you to realize that everyone around you has the same 'consciousness' (may be not yet aware of it) and you will start respecting one and all, however imperfect they may be!!! once you realize this, you will not have to 'read' any more for" YOU ARE THAT " tat twam asi!!! dEVI is INFINITE! that is why sree lalita sahasaranama describes HER as AUM BHUMA RUPAYAI NAMAHA!
