I dont have an Altar in the strict sense of the word.In our home I

have pictures and small figurines made of sandalwood and marble of

different gods and godesses in all the rooms except the living room.I

have in the kitchen too.

Well I suppose I am different ,but thats me.

OM Chumki

You say, "I have pictures and small figurines made of

sandalwood and marble of different gods and godesses in all

the rooms except the living room."

So your entire house is your altar except for the spot where you

'relax', i.e. are at your most tamasic. This echoes your life and the

life of any serious aspirant. It is most suitable for someone such

as yourself who talks with the Divine: you are with God much of

the time except for the times when you relapse into the

mundane.

I know your humility will object but you are an inspiration to all of

us.
