Guest guest
Dear friends! i am new to srividya. I was initiated into this great mantra by my guru, but before i could learn the technicalities of navavarana pooja, he attained the lotus feet of amba. He gave his pooja manual to me and asked me to follow it. I have some doubts. Please guide me ! 1. The manual prescribes Nyasa. should this be meditative only or should it involve touching the prescribed body parts? 2. During Vighnotsarana, it says, clap three times and do something else. i do not follow what else they say. please explain. 3. while inviting kalas into the Arghya patra, should i simply imagine so, or do something practically like offering akshata and flowers into the patra for each mantra? 4. Can i remove srichakra from the altar and place it in another vessel for giving it a bath so that i can later dry it and place it back on the altar to continue with worship? But after pranapratishta, can i touch and move the srichakra? 5. when they say tarpana, what exactly should be done? should i offer flowers, akshatas and vishesharghya bindus into the srichakra directly? wont this make the srichakra wet and sticky? what has to be done to the milk that has been offered as tarpana to srichakra? or should i offer tarpana in a seperate vessel? 6. when should i chant the moola mantra, varahi, bala etc? 7. what should be dont of stuff offered as bali to vatuka, yogini etc? please help me with these ! nitya! sakshatkar
Dear friends in the path of sadhana, According to my personal experience of continuos sadhana, one finds at the treshold of nirakara, nirguna and nishabda.. the ultimate state of complete peace beyond the power of human mind. In other words all effort of sadhana fall into a deep well of silence, contentment and detached state of existence. I have found that to enter this state of wakeful samadhi or a state of non action of the mind which leads to an existence with deep awareness, the sadhak must follow the path of truth at all times. Then the need to do any sadhana drops off and the state of blissful existence as a witness to all conciousness becomes a state of existence. The most simple and sure path to realisation is adhering to truth at all times. God bless all.

razious
Sankara mutt is a place you could get initiated and learn Srividya to its perfection. Search if there is any branch of Sankara Mutt in Bangalore. There must be one. Or else pay a visit to Sringeri Sangara mutt. Good luck Ra Zious
