The more I read about Matangi the more I love her! I still haven't gotten

through all the posts, but I am ready to jump up and down! I need to devote

myself to this goddess! As a student of art and music who has always

considered himself something of an outsider and was given a vision of Kali

what more could I ask for?!?

I already devote myself to Saraswati, but Matangi brings an aspect of

completion to the whole thing! The "white-light" side of it like I said

previously is always thrust upon popular deities, but now I can see the

bigger picture.

I always had a little trouble with that whole thing. Feelings of guilt and

criticism can easily well up when dealing with pure energies like the white

light Saraswati. This will help me indeed.

I am wishing I didn't read D. Kinsleys book so early on in my studies because

after I became a music student and started focusing on my devotional art more

and more I had already forgotten about this aspect of Kali!

Sorry for ranting a bit.......but you can get an idea for the type of things

I end up making by looking at this:

My painting is under the name William Clark. You can see I have always had a

tendency towards Tantric symbols and the imagery of death as a metaphor for

transcendance. I feel motivated to start devoting myself to Matangi now!

I had a lot of inner friction trying to Identify completely with the pure

Saraswati, I do feel love for the goddess and the forces of creation, but

that is only one side of my personality.

Thanks so much for everything, I have to finish reading those posts now!

PS I am on the manwoman site at another place...

If you are interested. Manwoman is a great artist and friend who has done

much to redeem the holy symbol of the Swastika in the minds of the Western

masses in our time. It is an ancient an sacred symbol much maligned in our

era do to WWII. I feel that all artists and spiritual persons should freely

use the symbol to resanctify and recognize for wht it is, but this is another

issue entirely!............

Take Care, William
