Guest guest
Vanakkam Sister Venya Nice to see you again. I am happy that the Temple plan is still as schedule. Sorry I couldnt reply this message pronto, as you know by now, my concentration have been redirected to another area. But please do keep me inform. You mentioned : "Mariamman/Yellama-The Tamil Goddess of healing. She is generally the Goddess present in most South Indian villages. I will post more about Her on the list if there is interest. Yellama is also a goddess that is surrounded by worshippers who are queer or who are transsexual. I will post more about Her as well if there is interest" Do tell us more about Mariamman/Yellama. I have written an article about Mariamman, and its in the homepage. Do take a look and your comments appreciated. One of the member have asked me about Mariamman Mantra. Do you know any ? "Periyachi Amman-She is the Goddess to whom most Tamil Shaktivite families bring their new borns(1 month old babies) to be blessed and there is a whole method of prayer that is observed around worship of her by womyn only around the birth of children" I remember we did discuss about Periyachi during your trip here, how about writing it in details for the members here, more about Periyachi and her poojas. You mentioned once that you believe Periyachi might be dhumavati ( the Mahavidyas ), you care to elaborate on this? Once again, Thanks Sis. Venya. Guest guest
Namaskar It is indeed a noble venture you have undertaken to start a temple. If you need somebody for performing pujas at the temple, please let me know. It will be a honour for me to take up this service to Sri Ganesh and Divine mother.
