I had read somewhere that Sankara Bhagavatpada had 14 directly initiated disciples of whom 9 were householders, who were initiated into the samayachara srividya tradition. Could anyone tell me if this is true and where I can find the source of this story? I have not come across this in any of the sankara digvijayas.
