Invitation to Puja

Pranam. My family and I will be hosting Varalakshmi Vrata puja on the 16th,

that is day after tomorrow. Please honour me by attending, if not physically, at

least mentally. If you are in London and would like to attend, pls mail me so

that I can give you my address. Also, could someone please tell me the favorite

flower or fruit for Devi? I would be thankful if someone could mail me pronto.

Thank you for the invitation. Now if im there, I will definitely

attend. I never miss such wonderful event, especially pooja for Devi.

Please do tell me the exact time the pooja will commence ( dont worry

I have the global time schedule. Just give me London time), and I

observe it here 'mentally' that is to say. As for me whenever I

attend a pooja for Devi, this is what I will bring with me :

 

1.Flowers ( fresh and assorted ) but must have several pink lotus

flowers. Jasmine flowers especially is favoured ( from what I know )

2. Fruits - I would normally bring apples, pears ( assorted too ).

3. Dates, rock sugar, Kumkum, Tumaric powder, incense stick etc

4. A brand new Sari, since it is Varalakshmi Vrata , I would get a

golden light yellow Sari.
