Shaki Sadhana Homepage : Future Plans

My sincere Thanks to Chumki, Shankaree, baba108, Dashiki Djibouti and

many others who have been very generous with their compliments.

 

Somebody told me once : A homepage is like a Garden. You need to tend

it with care and love, water it and really protect it, put

in "fertilizer" periodically if you have to. But most important of

all, it need patience and persistence.

 

And Thank you for all the suggestions. This is our future plans for

the homepage :

 

Durga : The Durga page will definitely remain, and periodically we

will change the picture with new ones. In the photo gallery, a

special page with pictures all the different forms of Durga.

 

Kali : Kali too deserve a page of her own, and a section of the Photo

Gallery with all her different forms. I am still trying to get the 12

different forms of Kali.

 

Lalitha : No! We have not forgotton about one of the oldest form of

Shakti Sadhana, the Srividya tradition. We are not an expert in this,

but I see no reason in having Sri Lalitha in our homepage. And

without fail, in the photo gallery, the different pics of Sri

Lalitha.

 

Devi temple : pictures of all the different Devi temples, not just in

India but all over the world : from East Asia, South Asia, America or

even in Antartica if there is one. Devi has gone global now !!!

 

Stotras, hyms page : collections of all Devi Stotras, hyms, poems

etc.

 

These are some of the things we plan to do. It will be a gradually

process. Our aim is not to make this the best homepage, but a place

where one can come to and learn something about Devi or just a place

for one to feast their eyes ( with the various pictures of Devi )

 

We welcome any contributions, be it in a form of pictures, a line or

two ( poem, or hyms etc ) or if you feel like writing about Devi, and

wants to share it with others, do not hesitate to email them to me.

As we know sometimes emailing do have its problem. The best is to

download it in the group file section, and inform the moderators. We

will do the rest. We hope to make our Articles sections : A

collections of Shakti Sadhana.
