Namaskar Shankaree Ji!

I am all for doing a group rite of some sort. The only forseeable problem may

be a convenient location for us to get together since we live in different

places and that would require some organizing to get a nice turnout.

I am looking foward to meeting a local Bengali organization where I live to

perform pujas for Durga, Laksmi and then Kali. I think hanging out with them

will do lots of good for me being a western Hindu and all to see the pujas

for me a great experience......

Maybe we should all share locations in some organized matter or submit them

to the group owners for cataloging and then the closest people could contact

eachother and discuss plans for a ritual of some sort.

Any one have ideas on hoe to organize something like this.? I would help in

any way I could. It is a good idea and working in groupos like that can be

extremely rewarding when done for the right reasons.

Jai Ma!

I did suggest something like this a long time ago to the kali ma group amongst a

few others, the shahasranama stotras are powerful there is no doubt of that but

how many people in these groups can pronounce them correctly? this will leave a

considerable amount of people out who are not firmiliar with this mantra.

Last time I suggested a maha raksha vidya of mother kalika, u see according to

texts sadhana is done alone but this is like a group sadhana, it protects the

whole of the people involved in the sadhana and since there is a lot of people

this mantra will become more powerful.

If each person says it a minimum of 500 times, it will only take 30 minutes and

many will attain advantage out of this. I suggested something like this take

place, but for another reason.

You see peace mankind cannot get until whole of mankind does some kind of

worship, mantras can affect only a certain environment, but if we from different

places do the same mantra japa then we will act as nodes that will spread the

vibratory force furthur.

A maha japa (100 thousand times) can have a radius of 3 to 3 thousand miles,

depending on how much bhuta agni you have. It will be good if we start during

the first day of navaratri the evening, say 6.00 pm that way if everyone does

this, then a very powerful kavacha will be formed we will act as the parameters

of the kavacha.

THis is the best method, the vidya mantras are easy to say and they help quite a

lot. What say you all?

Thank you for sharing this link! This is just soooooo cool! I love

coming together with people who share a faith and devotion that is

linked to my own! It is such a rare and precious experience to

worship with other Goddess devotees.

After 9/11 I helped to organize a ritual in a nearby park, for

healing and to send divine guidance to our leaders. It was an open

call to people in my local wiccan/pagan community.

The ritual was simply wonderful. People were there from various but

similar traditions. Everyone blended beautifully and I think we all

felt some sense of community and spiritual usefullness in a very

trying time.

I have read some of the replys to your original post and I agree that

it would be challenging for such a far flung group as our own to get

together geographically all in one place.

Perhaps organizing ourselves to get together at a specific time,

although separated by miles/continents would be a good start. Or

perhaps we could look toward smaller gatherings of members who are

located more closely to eachother.

In any event, thank you for sharing this.

Namaste,

Pranam Shankaree,

Satyen visited the site. Well structured. But some

information is totally misleading and misinterpreted.

For example, the virupana on Kundalini is so vague.

Some of our members will just laugh at this. With due

respect, apart from structuring, nothing worth

hitting.
