Like most people, I guess, I feel like I don't get nearly enough idle

time these days! But when I do get a chance to waste a little time,

by golly, I waste it in grand style.

 

This afternoon I finished a big project that had been hanging over my

head for some time. It was too early to leave the office, but somehow

I didn't feel like doing one of the million little projects I should

be doing. I was going to go work on the homepage a little, but didn't

feel particularly inspired.

 

I needed some perspective on what really mattered in life. And so I

searched Google for the phrase "nothing is more important than." Out

of more than 2,000 hits, here are a few nuggets of wisdom for you all

to enjoy:

 

Nothing is more important than life.

 

Nothing is more important than Truth.

 

Nothing is more important than love.

 

Nothing is more important than books.

No questions on that...just a comment or two

My personal perception of reality presents the thought that.....

 

As Nothing is No*Thing.....Nothing is more important than that

which I choose to give importantance to in this exact moment in time.

If Some*Thing were more important than *that*, I would no doubt

shift my attention to something else.

 

Bottom line is ......I value Mindfulness and have learned that upon which

I place my attention...this grows. My attention is energy ....and what I

take energy away from dies. The attention that I acknowledge can be of

a physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual base and yet I believe that

it all connects back to the mind, mindful intention and my beliefs about

this, that and everything else.

 

Nothing is always something .....
