on this happy occasion of vijayadasami ( the tenth day the dusshera

festival ) when 'good triumphed over evil' - Devi chamundeshweri

slayed successfully the demon mahisasura ( the ego demon in all of

us) and lord rama slayed the demon king ravana ( the ten headed demon

within all of us represented by ego, lust, desires, greed, anger,

coveteousness, arrogance, false pride, ignorance) , i offe4

this 'pushpanjali' ( the garland of flowers) to MAHISURAMARDINI DEVI!

folks! i just returned home after spending ten days in london.

amesterdam etc... i had the pleasure of meeting a dear web friend of

mine dksesh ... sesh and his wife hosted a lovely dinner for me and

my daughter in their beautiful home.... sesh and his wife are very

pious and sattwic! the wife has set up a beautiful altar for all the

hindu gods and goddesses and it was a deight to visit this couple

during the auspicious navaratri celebrations!

 

i also had the pleasure of talking to kalikaputri and shankaraee

ramatas over the phone.... both of thenm were very swet- just like

they appear on the pages of shaktio sadhana! devotional and

reverential!

 

so, my daughter said to me 'mom! i am really impressed; you got some

great connections on the web.' i replied 'yes, dear! all due to devi

kripa.' so, folks! the web is also the place to meetsome 'real'

people! chumki is one such treasure! there are many other pearls whom

i have met in real life- like baba108 ! and other gems i am waiting

to meet!

 

on another note, as i am writing this, the notorious 'sniper' shot

another woman in abusy shopping area in faqlls church . va yesterday!

then i heard about the bomb explosioon in a discotheque in bali where

180 tourists lost their lives along with local people! why is there

so much evil? or is this all thw 'storm' before the calm?
