Guest guest
After going through Dalai Lama's words, I mused for a while and considered the occasions in my Brahmacharya and gaarhastya periods when I got angry and I have tried to catalog the causes of anger I became slave to for a time. 1) In the village school, one teacher always knuckled boys for giving wrong answers. One day, I supplied castor oil to all the classmates before the teacher arrived and they all applied oil thickly and liberally on their head.that day when the teacher knuckled a boy his hand got stuck in the boy's head.He gave up his knuckling.I was eight then. 2)When I was fourteen, I did not only to vaishnavism into which I was born, but I not only d to Adi Shankara's philosophy but I also believed in Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Jainism. So one day, my grandfather complained to one of his friends that I was an atheist.I stopped talking to my grandfather in anger .I talked to him after he told me that he realized that I believed in all religions. There were many times when people said I was egoist, arrogant and haughty.I used to avoid these people till one day I realized that I aired my views freely and did not consider whether it would hurt others. after this i am not haughty, i think and i am not angry, i think sarvam brahma mayam , shankaree ramatas <shankaree> wrote: > > Pranam.
