Guest guest
I wondered if anyone can tell me more about Ekajata. I know that she is considered by some to be a form of Tara, and like Tara has a place in Tibetan Buddhism as well. Who exactly is Ekajata Ma and who is her specific consort(ie. ummananda-ugratara)? Also, is there a form of Shiva whose name begins with "Try" or "Tr". I know these questions seem strange, but they are meaningful to me, and I would be very gratefull for any reply. Guest guest
Ekjata is a name of devi tara another name for ugra tara, she is red in colour and is the goddess of sexual energy. She is depicted fierce since man (human being) usually misinterprets sexual energy into lust or conteminates it into lust hence fears it as a sadhaka. This is the basic theory of ekajata, she is the goddess of the uncontrolable energy which is extremely volatile. Remember goddess tara is the form of kali that helps in distress. Never ever diffrintiate between yogini, dakini, kali, kamakhya, tara and bhairavi that will be a sin. These goddesses are one and the same with different names thats all, ekajata is called in sadhanas of mohana and giving art. Her mantra when vyasa did tapasa of this mantra he got no result thus cursed all tara mantras. That is the pin set by shiva and vyasa maharishi. Later vyasa used strim instead and got magnificant results, the utkilana mantra is given by a guru or a master, since I have no control of this mantra I cannot give the utkilana. But her simplest mantra is om hrim trim hum phat. The major outline between the tara and ekajata is strim and trim their respective bijas but almost all the time they overlap. Aksobhaya or asobhaya is almost always the seer of tara mantras. Remember what ever you do do not take brihad nila tantra into account when doing tara sadhana it had been greatly corrupted. That is a story for another day, hope this answers your question. Careers- 1,000's of jobs waiting online for you!
Guest guest
Forms of shiva that hae the tr syllabel: Tryambakeshwar rudra tryambakeshwar swami trenetra swami telang swami triguna nasha swami tirtha munda tri linga. A bit more on devi ekajata: the buddhists (universally) were taught by buddha to only contemplate on the formless, the mahayana buddhists go influenced into tantra when they met the bengali mystics that is why most buddhist tantras are written in bengali. Tara is the patron goddess of begali mystics, the only tara that has strong buddhist link is mechandari tara which basically still has links with assamese tantra. She is known as purna pishachini or the complete vapiress if translated losely. Again the buddhists edited the birdhad nila tantra where they wrote vyasa going to shakhyamuni buddha, well vyasa is a buddha known as I think amoga siddhi. The sapta rishi are no different to the early buddhas. Besides sage vyasa pre dated the great shakyamuni who in our culture has the title or status of muni. He belonged to the shakhya clan again main state the strong link between tara and buddha this is due to some members of the shakhya clan claiming that devi tara was their kul devi. So there is a lot of conspiracy there, about this consort business, tara is only associated with shiva and bhairava. However like kali she is an a goddess who has in idependent mythology in which I mean she is no associated to any god explicitly. You should remember that there is no duality between dieties it is only when you realise shiva is shakti and vise versa that you will attain liberation. I admire the bhutanese and tibetain buddhits since they still maintain the old schools, however in saying sothe conspiracy between the brihad nila is something hindu tantrics are against and the adoptation of the aghora nath clan from hinduism to buddhism is something many bengali tantrics still argue about. So if you do want to learn of devi ekajata you will get conflicting info, better off doing her sadhana and getting her darshan. I have given the mantra infuse that with her nyasa and do say around a million times japa she will come. The whole thing is a five year sadhana many do fail, very strong niyama. I wouldnt mind sharing it but however I know it will be a waste since many this day and age will not have the capacity to do such hardcore tantric rituals like hours of japa.
