Guest guest
Having read several Yogic texts from different sources, I often find myself coming across the following saying ever so often: "A sadhaka goes to Lord Shiva for wisdom, and to Lord Vishnu for liberation." I'd really appreciate receiving some background-fillers on this enigmatic saying, if possible. - - - Also, in the context of the devi bhaktas, does the above saying imply anything at all about Devi's role??? If nay, I think I could suggest an addendum for it like: "a sadhaka has to go to Devi for nourishment - lest he/she perish even before he/she makes the trips to Lord Hari or Hara."
