Will do my best to answer:

Like we say the word aum as the sound of the universe.

Aum is the combination of three mantras akara, ukara and makara the

creation, preservation and destruction all acts can be placed under either

category hence the universe is expressed in this way, it is the Hindu

equivalent of the Big Bang but instead of Bang we call it AUM.

what exatly happens if u chant a beeja askshara.why

in first we call this beeja or seed. what vibration or

generated when u say this.why this should be kept a

secret.

A bija akshara acts like a name, if someone calls your name then you will

come same with deities. The bija has to be said at a certain pitch, rhythm

and frequency this resonates a special energy wave that has the same essence

as the deity you are calling, under a certain period of time this wave if

you come in contact with frequently will start transforming all three of

your bodies to some state. It is kept secret just like you will with your

credit card number. If anyone has access to it then they can steal away your

japa's effect. I will not get into that since I don't want people knowing

how to do that.

Tips on doing mantra japa. how do you combine

japa with breath.if u say a beeja aakshara what should

be timing of that aakshara. what is the difference

between doing japa without anga nyasa & khara

nyasa.how to go beyond seeing the photograph /image of

that deity.what sort of shanti we should do after

mantra japa.

To combine japa with breath is either called Kriya yoga or Pranayama, the

whole concept of japa is to basically transform your atma into that of the

deity or the tweak your atma. When you do nyasas that energises your body

with the mantra so it gets absorbed more quickly. The photo or image is

there for you to focus, when you focus a particular image that correlates

with a mantra on you chakra; the chakras get stimulated. You attain energy

from this. Again I can go on and on about this since the field of japa is

something I know very well, but I will go no further since it may confuse or

bore you.

Basically a mantra has the essence of the deity you are invoking under the

right environment (with meditation, puja, dhyana and special offerings) this

essence gets amplified and later gets situated into your atma, this can give

you many effects depending on how strong the essence is.

You can get siddhi shaktis or even become the deity by giving your ego as

bali you take the identity of that deity hence there is no difference this

is what sharanam is.

hey kalika putra,

could you write some more on how to do japa to have the darshan of

the deity. there are several on the list that i know of who have had

devi's darshan but except for you, everyone had the guidance of the

guru at every step.

there are several things that i stumbled on through trial and error

that have helped me and maybe i will list them-straight spine, sit

perfectly still, rhythmic breathing(1:1 ratio for puraka rechaka),

bhutishuddhi with visualization and japa of the tattwas, handmudras;

among the things that you suggested was kriyayoga(1:4:2) combined

with bhutashuddhi of the mantras.

when one does japa should be eyes be closed or open(there are people

who say that keeping the eyes open will result in the energy leaking)

in the mantra sadhana, where does the yantra come? you did not so far

mention about yantra at all.

in your last post you also mentioned something about the speed of the

japa , that the beeja has be said at the correct pitch and speed,

could you elaborate?

and while doing japa should there be any visualization?

> something I know very well, but I will go no further since it may

>confuse or

> bore you.

please go further as it is useful for a lot of us and in no way

confusing or boring.

thankfully,

yogaman
