Are you an ayurveda docter?

Nope. One do not have to be an Ayurveda Doctor to know all these

stuff. Some of the members are aware that I am a Registered Nurse.

Have been since age 18. Im 40 yrs old now. My area of Interest is

Rehabilitation and Palliative care ( more towards Hospice Care ).

 

How do I get interested into Ayurveda :

 

One day, at the old temple, I was down with high fever. I don't

have

any analgesics nor antipyretics. An elderly lady, went into the

forest, and came out with heaps of leafy stuff with some roots in her

hand. Boil it and instructed me "drink!" and I did. Taste

Awful but

the effect was fantastic. From these wonderful ladies, I was

introduce to Ayurveda. They are not doctors, but they know what to

do when somebody is sick.

 

Someone told me that these ladies are my guru. Maybe they are and

strangly enough I never see them as one. They are like mothers to me

and I worship them in my own way.
