Guest guest Posted December 21, 2002 Report Share Posted December 21, 2002 Dearest nora, This morning i was gathering material for posts on 'Kundalini'.....YES, the materials i have collected so far are wonderful and pretty exhaustive - all aspects of this divine shakti... the direct and indirect paths of raising the kundalini, how kundalini can be awakened through different systems of yoga from bhakti yoga through tantrik yoga ( laya yoga,) ,, the benefits of awakening the kundalini, the importance of a kundalini teacher in awakening the kundalini shakti, the dangers of premature awakening of kundalini and finally how one can recognize the signs of kundalini awakening.... also, shri ramana maharishi's vies on kundalini - whether awakening the 'amrita' nadi is more effective than the kundalini experience/..finally, kundalini in other religious systems... but guess what? in order to awaken the kundalini , you hve to purify the nadis , do bhuta shuddhi and work on the 'prana' etc.... and you know what? i got discouraged... i caanot come and write on something i have not experienced! this will not be appropriate! it is one thing to write about 'aghoris' but it is another thing to write about mother kundalini! because i know in this lifetime, i am not going to practice the 'aghora' path... but i know at some point before my life is over i MAY have an experience of kundalini awakening not necessarily through hatha yoga but through other yoga.... i do not know! it can happen! so, let me not fool myself and others by writing on this divine'shakti' - it would like fakinng an 'orgasam' - in all fairness, to myself and to my MOTHER , i cannot fake this divine union! please forgive me for backing out of my promise... on the other hand, the best person to write on this topic would be shriman ompremji - he has already received 'shaktipat' from his guru swami vishnudevananda and also he is a practicing hatha yogi! his english is excellent - he has style and elegance and he is articulate !
