Guest guest
I am even happier and prouder to say that my ancestral home is in Amma's village. Not so proud and happy to admit that most of my relatives staying in the village do not believe in Her, strange indeed is maya. yogaman Message: 4 Sat, 4 Jan 2003 09:35:26 -0800 (PST) sankara menon Re: Gender segregation I am happy (and proud??) to stay within 90 kilometers of her ashram. Guest guest
Si! Maya is really peculiar. However, Amma is not the only victim of this "relative" slight. The relations of innumerable spiritual illuminaries of the past have always been the slowest to come to terms with Their growing divinity; as compared with devotees not of blood or ancestral relation. Sri Ramana Maharshi was one, Sri Ramakrishnan and Lord Buddha were others, etc etc... Familiarity breeds contempt???
