Guest guest
you could try one of two ways or both. The First Way: 1)Shortlist employers you would be happy to serve. 2)list out your skills. 3)narrow down the above list to those which you are not easily tired of using. 4)make a realistic estimate of the income you need to keep your head above water, besides enabling you to save for a rainy day. 5)Send your one-page resume to the CEO of the firm you would like to serve. The Second Way: Pray to God seriously that you must have this job quickly. Chanting HanumAn CAlisa will also help if you believe. love and godbless dasan
Guest guest
namaste Sri bhavanidasan, quite honestly i think in this economy, the second way is the quicker and sureshot way, as everybody is doing the first thing:-). aum namasivaya yogaman , "bhavanidasan <bhavanidasan>" <bhavanidasan> wrote: > you could try one of two ways or both. > The First Way: > 1)Shortlist employers you would be happy to serve. > 2)list out your skills. > 3)narrow down the above list to those which you are not easily tired > of using. > 4)make a realistic estimate of the income you need to keep your head > above water, besides enabling you to save for a rainy day. > 5)Send your one-page resume to the CEO of the firm you would like to > serve. > > The Second Way: > Pray to God seriously that you must have this job quickly. > Chanting HanumAn CAlisa will also help if you believe. > love and godbless > dasan
Guest guest
Hi, Spiritual doc, spare the knife on my advice. I thought I intended it for one who sought it! lol
Guest guest
Greetings Coolthurber The most effective way I personally believe is via Shri Ganesha. Get the application form and the list of all the potential employers, place them on the pooja table infront of Ganesha or go to Ganesha temple. Lament your heart to him. Its okay for you to lament to us, we will listen, but its Ganesha who will do the task of choosing the best job for you. He knows best. Thereafter meditate on Ganesha or chant Ganesha mantra and let HIM comes into your inner self. Sometimes impatience is itself an obstacles to our progress. Guest guest
Hello Coolthurber, My heartfelt commiserations to you. I would also go with the Ganesha solution. Being the Lord of Categories, He will have no problems lassoing for you your ideal job. If you are going to adopt Nora's suggestion, the fourth lunar day is a good day to present your pleads to Lord Ganesh. According to Siva Raj yoga this day is most fortuitous for the purpose. Faith is the most important thing for any plea to work. I can't personally vouch for this particular Ganesh-puja because I have not tried it, but, having received favorable response from His Big Daddy, I'd really believe Lord Ganesh would be just as gracious. (I once begged Lord Shiva for adequate free time to study as many scriptures to my heart's content, and lo and behold I have not done a 9-5 since '98). Srimad Bhagavatam, I am coming for you this year! So in a nutshell, yes, great faith is a pre-requisite for the fulfillment of any boon. Also, do be careful HOW and what you ask for (case in point: Draupadi and her five husbands). I am not trying to be funny here. Hara Om SS...who now has Eternity to burn (help!) Guest guest
Namaste Sri Bhavanidasan! I am no doc, i am only a worm, working my way through the earth, being constantly pulled down by the dross of the prithvi tattva, occasionally i come across an opening in the ground, and gaze at the beautiful akasha, ah! so wonderful to stay in the chidakasha, and then instantly a big pile of dirt is dumped on me again, so working my way through it again and yes, only a worm.... and coolthurber, may i also recommend that you do whatever you are going to do as a strict sadhana, everyday same time and place, preferably in the sacred 3-7 am brahmahurta period when effects of japa are 10fold. i have yet to see someone who followed this classical method and failed to get any benefit. aum namasivaya yogaman , "bhavanidasan <bhavanidasan>" <bhavanidasan> wrote: > Hi, Spiritual doc, spare the knife on my advice. Guest guest
A wise person told me once : If you see somebody lying on the street and you choose not to help, its okay. Just walk away, but do not kick the person, for he have done no harm to you. If you want to help, there are many ways. If you have the money, then share that money of yours, If you have no money, then use your energy/strength. If you have no strength/energy, then use your brain/ideas. We got to be practical. PS: I really hope everything will be okay. I know Mary Ann just told us about being patience, but what other advise can I offer : Be Patience ! I know rejection ( in referring to work related ) can be very disheartening. I have seen a proud man `broken into pieces' when he keep on receiving rejection letters. The only thing that keeps him going is having faithful friends who stood by him and to give him prayers and encouragement. Guest guest
a good piece of advice.it is to the forlorn we must offer hope.I have some experience working with medico-pastoral association a long time ago, where we talked hopeless people into giving up suicidal thoughts. "it is always darkest before dawn" Constancy of faith will go a long way in removing depression. , "Nora <ashwini_puralasamy>" <ashwini_puralasamy> wrote: > A wise person told me once : > > If you see somebody lying on the street and you choose not to help, > its okay.
