I watched the crew interview of 01/29/03 on Cspan last night, because I

wanted to get to know them as individuals to better pray and be mindful

toward them. Kalpana who they called KC, said the most "Wow" thing for her,

when asked by the interviewer, was when she approached the window in the

upper viewing area of the shuttle and saw the earth rising reflecting the sun

and the horizon of stars above and then she said she saw her own reflection

in the glass of the window superimposed on the earth and horizon and in the

pupil of her eye, within her reflection, she saw the earth reflected.

 

I say Mother. We reflect her and she reflects us. She has us in her eye

always.

 

I wrote a haiku upon my reflection on their deaths and new lives within Maya

and now within our Mother.....

 

In her eye

The earth appeared

In her we are one

 

May all tears touch and wash the shores of new life as we travel this path

and bring joy.
