Dear sisters and brothers.

 

I have resisted joining in this interesting debate and

I can resist no longer.

 

The notion of Dominance is interesting to me . It

seems that in looking at the Men in our lives as men

we forget that they are Children of the Shakti and as

such they are given the work of Shakti as well. They

can't help but experss that Shakti.

 

The dominace in Hinduism can it not be protection. I

am not speaking to the men who push women out of doing

more of the esoteric work of Hinduism. These men do so

out of fear because they sense the Shakti. Bless them

and pray for these men for they fear the Shakti and

hence possibly block Her true experssion. This is the

exception not the rule

 

Having said that. Men are the protectors who in true

essence honour and take care of more mundane things

and allow the woman who is the Shakti to express

herself and allow Divine Blessings into the home.

 

The faith expressions start at the home and this

system has worked

 

This is because both parties are honoured . To quote

Satguru Siva Subramuniya Swami.

 

He states that the men should go out and work and

provide for the family and his wife adminsters the

home. If he protects and honors his Shakti . She

becomes his magnet pulling in blessings into the home.

Even though she does work. Whatever she asks for , he

has to give.

 

I have a friend in Malaysia who's wife asked for a

house and I saw him work hard and get it for her. She

pulled in blessings and they are living very happily

and prosperously.

 

My life partner and I live in the very same way

because she is a Shiva devotte and I am a Shakti

devotte.

 

Feminism is the enpowerment of women. I agree but lets

not get caught up in the study of feminism and get the

action of it

 

We built a temple in Pasadena Texas. Run by women,

adminstered by women and pujas done by women.

 

We do not reject the menfolk for they are children of

the Ma as well but they understand the women at the

top at our temple.

 

We give food to the poor and we help abused women and

rape victims and children who are abused and even men

who are .I am not trying to blow my own horn. Why do

the textbook thing. Express it in your life.be a

feimnist by action . This is true feminism I

believe.Honour the Shakti and express her to everyone

you meet. She created all of us and we have no right

to make judgments on anyone

Both Tara and I have seen men come to our door to see

the Ma and then they go to her and cry like children

of Ma and they Honour their women like the Ma. These

men are an inspiration to us , a hope that Ma will

bless them and their families will honour Her always.
