Guest guest
Namaste Ralf, There is no need to change whatever practices you are already doing. The most important thing is to know WHY you are doing them, seeing them as tools to uncover the Self from its shroud of ignorance. Whatever you are doing, do it with full attention. The practices, like the intellect, will eventually be naturally discarded as well. All practices, done properly, lead to the knowledge of Advaita. This is THE highest philosophy on this earth, propounded by Sri Adi Shankara. In order to establish Advaita Vedanta, Shankara traveled the width and breadth of India, debating with and defeating ALL other philosophies, including Buddhists, dualists, Tantrikas, Shaktas, Shaivaites, Vaishnavites, ... ALL other philosophies. His life story is an excellent introduction to this philosophy and if you would like to read on it, visit: /messages/3736 AUM , Ralf <ralf@F...> wrote: > Hi Sivadancer > > In reply to Sandeep, you wrote > > > Until ignorance is destroyed through proper practice, ego DOES exist. > > This is an Upanishadic truth.
