Guest guest
Dear Friends, This morning I had a repeat doplar radar study done on my leg to review the status of the deep vein that runs through the femoral through the deep calf vein from hip to ankle. The clot is still old (stable) with no new clot, and there is still some back-wash up into the femural which continues to be partially obstructed from the old clot ( and which creates swelling), however, in addition to this, a MIRACLE has happened !!!!! This is something that is VERY GOOD and VERY RARE and according to them DOESNT USUALLY HAPPEN, but it is a GOOD thing. It appears after a very careful and thorough look at my leg with a doplar radar sound and imaging device that the internal iliac ( a secondary vein in the upper half of the leg, which Yes, HAS VALVES ), is taking over the majority of circulation in that leg. I am going to see if I can find some good anatomy charts and analyze this a bit. Need to discuss this with my doc. But this makes me so happy I almost cried from joy. My exercising ( and all the love and light ) has paid off -- and ( this is MY OWN diagnosis of MYSELF :-) if I continue to exercise and rehabilitate the leg, who Knows what marvelous things will happen next ! Big Hugs to ALL !!!!!!! Cathie

Guest guest
Hello Cathie I am so glad that you are recovering well. I worked in an Orthopaedic surgery for more than 2 yrs and from what you describe, I think I have come across the same case only once. Indeed it is a rare occasion but I am not surprise. Our Human Body is so full of wonders yet to be discovered. YES ! you need to continue to exercise your leg, but what is more important is the positive thinking. Ah! I could just feel the happiness in you. A big hug for you.
