Hi All,

I used to have this great Meditation book years ago in college, back

when I was a freshman. I picked it up at some off beat around the corner

university bookstore that is no longer there. The book was called

Meditation, and the author was a Hindu man who was also familiar with

Christian beliefs and, deep sigh -- don't know where this book Is anymore,

but I was still living at home at the time and mom didn't approve of some of

my books. Come to think of it, I haven't a clue what happened to that book

it just wasn't there anymore. It was by the author Mouni Sadhu ( I believe

that is the correct spelling but this was about 20 years ago ! ).

Has anyone heard of this book?

I have been unsuccessful finding it at Amazon.com. Web search failed.

I would love to get my hands on another copy of it, but I fear it may

have gone out of print, perhaps having been a wee bit esoteric and the author

too obscure for the mainstream public.

Peace, Love and Poetic License,

Cathie

Hi Cathie:

The book you're referring to is probably "Meditation: An Outline for

Practical Study," by Mouni Sadhu (alt. title, "Commonsense Directions

for Meditation"), 1967, No. Hollywood, CA: Melvin Powers Wilshire

Book Co.

You're correct that it's out of print, but I just searched ISBN

0879800968 at http://www.alibris.com, and found 11 used copies

available, for U.S. $4.95 and up.

Hope that helps!
