Meaning:

Having the throat decorated with a stain,

having an eye in the forehead,

having the crescent decorate the red matted hair,

the One with skull adornation his favorite town is

the great mazapADi of the One Whose tongue is

decorated with the vedas, where the cranes in the

docks disappear amidst the chaste flowers.

 

Notes:

1. As the cranes are also white they disappear in the

dense white background of the flowers.

2. kaRai - stain (poison stain); miDaRu - throat;

n^uthal - fore-head; n^aNNiya - reached; thuthaithal
