My dearest friends and siblings,

In recent weeks, I have shared many prayers and

poems written by others. Now I share one that I have

written myself this afternoon.

O Holy Mother! Hear our prayer!

Divine Creatrix, Mother of All, Giver of Life, Source

of all Love,

We are your children, come together today to sing your

praise.

Behold, O Queen of Heaven and Earth!

Behold the birds, the trees, the fish, the flowers.

Your children all!

Hear the birds! They sing sweet songs of joy and

cheer.

They are thrilled to be alive,

Joyous to feel your power and your glory pouring

through their veins.

They sing so that all the world will know of their joy

And share in their cheer.

See the flower! She, too, is your child.

See her color! Smell her fragrance!

She, too, is filled with joy, the joy of life, the joy

of love.

She brightens the world with her colors,

She fills the air with perfume,

So that she may share her joy with all the world.

She blooms so that all the world will know of her joy

And share in her cheer.

O Holy Mother, we too are your children.

Our hearts are filled with joy and cheer.

We sing today songs of joy to share our cheer with all

the world.

We sing so that all the world will know of our joy

And share in our cheer.

We thank you for our lives. We thank you for our love.

We thank you for all the fellow creatures with which

you have filled the world.

We thank you for the birds, the flowers, the trees,

the fish,

But most of all, we thank you for making us, for

filling us with life and with love.

O Great Mother, hear our songs and be glad,

For we are glad and wish to share our joy with all the world.
