Guest guest
Of the many myths of Siva and Parvati, the marriage of these two divine personalities is one of the most popular and greatly celebrated. Among the many consortships in the myths of the Gods and Goddess, the Siva and Parvati marriage offers many psychological and sociological insights. What are the symbolisms of this marriage from the Shakta and the Shivite perspective.

Guest guest
In my opinion the marriage is seen as Parvati playing the role of a bridge that brings both world together. You can be a renouncer as well as a householder. As in Ramana Maharshi article "he believed that ascetism or saunyasa is not essential for Self-realization, which can be obtained by the householder and family man too" See file: The Householder and Renunuciation
