Guest guest
Shiva was never born. He is outside and beyond time. The Devi, on the other hand, likes to play with time, and takes many different incarnations. -- Len/ Kalipadma On Sun, 27 Apr 2003 15:05:05 -0000 "Nora" <ashwini_puralasamy writes: > Parvati/Devi always undergoes the process of rebirth as somebody's > daughter. Guest guest
- Siva and Parvati needs to be understood in the right perspective. It may not be a correct notion to think that Siva is never born and Parvati is undergoing births and deaths. The most fundamental aspect of Tantra is "Homo Divine" - divinity of all human beings - the potential of a man or woman to become God, that is Siva or Parvati. From Pasu we transcend to the sphere of Pasupati and Mrtyunjaya - this is the essence of all spirituality. In the sphere of Pasupati all human beings are Siva and Sakti. Stories of the Puranas have allegorical meanings. Death of Sati and the origin of Matrka devi (51- alphabets) from her body is a Tantrik allegorical description. We all have Siva and Parvati in us - Siva in the Sahasrara and Sakti in Muladhara and their union (marriage) is the ultimate objective of all Sadhana. I hope there's no confusion in this matter. chandra hari -- In , "Nora" <ashwini_puralasamy> wrote: > Kalipadma wrote : Shiva was never born. He is outside and beyond > time. Guest guest
Poojaneeya Prabhu, " Stories of the Puranas have allegorical meanings. Death of Sati and the origin of Matrka devi (51- alphabets) from her body is a Tantrik allegorical description." The letters of the alphabet -- 36 consonants and 15 vowels -- constitute the Goddess in the form of Time. The Matrika Chakra Viveka explains this doctrine in relation to the Shri Yantra The letters of the alphabet are evolutes, and placed in the different parts of the Shri Yantra, which is within the Wheel of Time itself. (As it represents the human body). Would you like to explain this in detail? saadar pranaams.
