Guest guest
Received this from Chandra Hariji. The document is in the file section. I thought its should be posted too in the group. "The letters of the alphabet -- 36 consonants and 15 vowels -- constitute the Goddess in the form of Time. The Matrika Chakra Viveka explains this doctrine in relation to the Shri Yantra. The letters of the alphabet are evolutes, and placed in the different parts of the Shri Yantra, which is within the Wheel of Time itself -as it represents the human body. Would you like to explain this in detail?" I am really happy to note your views and the details sought. I have not seen Matrka Chakra Viveka but I know what you have quoted is right. Text you have quoted and also the depth of your question suggests your deep interest and knowledge of Tantra. To briefly place an answer in words is a difficult task. But still I shall attempt to explain the matter to answer your inquisitiveness. (Presently, I am engaged in a reinterpretation of Tantra and my work shall cover all these aspects) To put the things in brief: Note the following points. 1. Kundalini is 'naada' in manifestation and this is the reason why the first cry denotes the birth time of a Yogi or Yogini. 2. As is well known from the verse "Muladharat prathammudito…" para rises through the Sushumna and successively becomes Madhyama and Vaikhari and then appears as the naada (first cry). This is the basis of the mantrayoga that arouses Kundalini – the process is reversed. 3. Matrka as the name implies is the "alphabetic model' of Kundalini – an interface between the Yogi, Chakra (of Time) and the Yantra. 4. Puranic allegories evolved 2 millenniums before under a different social and thinking pattern – under an altogether different paradigm - and so we cannot exactly say as to how they evolved. But through creative interpretation vis-à-vis the grace of Kundalini we can have a convincing picture. 5. Dakshayajna-bhanga and the Sati episode are astronomical allegories that point towards the ancient Tantrik epoch of 4137 BC. Churning of the Milky Way is also a similar episode – I shall explain: (a) Just think as to who is Daksha-Prajapati? Father in law of "Soma wedded to Rohini and the 26 other daughters of Daksha". Daksha is none but the Wheel of Time. (b) Sati committing Sati is an allegorical description of Moon joining Sun on `amavasya' – which is the zero of time – a Tantrik epoch at which the 51 aksharas came into being. One great Sadasiva for the first time initiated a systematic school, of course, with codified wisdom of the mantras. © What happened to Daksha – Siva/Veerabhadra replaced his head with that of a Mesha or Ram (Aries). (d) Sati or Moon – the 51 parts of Moon got equated with the alphabets: This conception is related to the Shadchakras (petals of the 5 wheels and the Sahasrara) and their role in facilitating the ascend of Kundalini. We know that at Muladharam, the SUN, Moon and Agni (Ida&Pingala&Sushumna or Ganga-Yamuna-Sarasvati) are in conjunction – a state of Sati or Amavasya from whence the amrtakirana (Soma = SA+Uma) gains in strength. (e) How the 51 alphabets achieve a complete modeling or Carrier of Kundalini is known only to great Tantriks possessive of real siddhi. Tantra gave great importance to the eclipses oriented astronomy or Calendar and that's why the Wheel of Time had the name Rahu-Sikhi Chakra in Tantra. Mula was the reference star and it represented the genitals for both microcosm and macrocosm and hence the Tantrik worship of Time as genitals. Mula's position also marked the death point at 240 degrees where Akasa Ganga cuts the path of Sun and Moon (Mahakala is Gangadhara) (2/3rd of the path) and thus (240- endpoint of 8th house) Mahakala represented death – Pradakshina in a Siva temple therefore should break at the Ganges (channel) and the Sadhaka must return in `apasavya' mode in the same fashion as Kundalini rises from Muladhara to Sahasrara – 240 degrees to 0 degree is 18 nakshatras, which represents the 18 steps of Yogavidya. (You may be aware that at Sabarimala of Kerala, the Yogaroodha-Sastha is installed over 18 steps). (f) We need to look at the 51 alphabets as the interface of the astronomical Muladhara Rahu-Sikhi Chakra and the Physiological Tantrik Shadchakra. Same applies to Idol worship – Kundalini of the Tantrik can be transferred to an Idol only through the `matrka' and in the same way matrka mediates for all `aavahanam' and `ucchatanam'. (g) To suggest an example of a number similar to 51, just think of 108: Why 108? 108 are the navamsas of the Zodiac – 1/9th divisions of time measured in Rasis. Four padas each of the 27 nakshatras. A tantrik body could be mathematically projected on to the sky only with such a mathematical construct. Yogis created decimal and Sexagesimal systems for that purpose. In the same way 51 evolved out of the requirements of Tantrik sadhana – it's the greatest of all wisdom that we may be able to realize as Kundalini rises further. This is the only way, I can express the matter in words. As you might have noticed the knowledge of the Tantrik Zodiac given here and the meaning of genital worship of time are not available in any books – modern or ancient. But tantrik wisdom is eternal – it lives through the dark ages in the matrka and then reappears after thousands of years. No body knew the meaning of Linga worship or implications of the term Muladharam but the grace of Sadasiva has brought forth it again… To think over: Why the Human beings are different from other creatures of the animal kingdom? Man has landed over the Moon and is heading towards Mars but neither of the creatures standing below him in the evolutionary Pyramid could make even a bicycle - Why? What is so special about Man? Athi Sundaram. A shloka in sanskrit explains this phenomena of Sree Matrka devi thus... The Vidya which is composed of the three Bindus, the Vowels and consonants collectively and separately, is both immanent in and transcends the Thirty-six tattvas and is by Herself alone. The Vowels (Svara) are the letters beginning with A and the consonants (Vyanjana) are the letters beginning with Ka. There three Bindus which make Anusvara and Visarga. These taken either singly or in a group make Her body. Her body is made up of thirty six Tattvas beginning with Shiva and ending with Ksiti and she also transcends them for she is the origin of all the Tattvas. She is therefore alone (Kevala), because there is nothing besides herself. Vagbhava contains five vowels and seven consonants, that is twelve letters. Kamaraja there are six vowels and eight consonants in all fourteen letters. Shakti there are four vowels and six consonants. The total of all these make 36 letters which are the limbs. This Vidya as an entire whole surpasses all the thirty six Tattvas. AUM Sree Matrka devyaii namo namaha. Aum sree Gurave namaha.Harihi Aum.
