Guest guest
I would like to share with you all an excerpt from Shri Ramana's talks on kundalini yoga: http://www.hinduism.co.za/newpage2.htm This is the jnani's view. but then there are others who swear by kundalini yoga - tantriks for instance. As you may be aware, Shri Ramakrishna had innumerable kundalini experiences in his lifetime; in fact, he even helped Swami Vivekananda have such an experience once by helping him artificially. But it was years and years before swamiji was able to experience the kundalini awakening all on his own ... Many times, Swami Vivekananda approached Shri Ramakrishna and told him that he wanted to practice hatha yoga but the great master discouraged such a practice. Kundalini can be awakened by bhakti yoga as well but the process takes longer. corrections welcome! hari aum !
